OUR COFFEE
Our gourmet coffee beans originate in the high mountain Yunga Jungle in the Andes Mountains. This region, know as Caranavi, is located 5900 feet above sea level, creating outstanding conditions for growing some of the finest coffee beans in all of Latin America.
It's an honor to purchase our organically grown beans from a co-op of over 1500 family farmers who grow and harvest in this region.
Description
Smooth and balanced with a fragrant aroma, this high-grown Bolivian coffee possesses a rich, full body. When roasted to a medium level, it has a sweet flavor with notes of almond and hazelnut.
How does it taste?
Our roaster took great care in selecting a roast profile that would highlight the amazing attributes of this highly prestigious coffee.
“We chose a medium roast, roasted a bit darker than the rest of our mediums, to bring out the unique flavor characteristics while still protecting the integrity of the bean.
The end result is a fine dark chocolate flavor, sweet and mature coffee fruit, with a creamy, decadent texture, winey acidity and a delicate finish.”
