Bolivia’s Best Coffee isn’t about the coffee - it’s about what the coffee allows us to do.

We began roasting Bolivian coffee for the sole purpose of providing Christian homes and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the orphaned and abandoned children of Bolivia. Our organization – The International Orphanage Union (IOU) builds and operates orphanages in Bolivia. Our hope is to provide homes for all of the orphaned children of Bolivia, and that sales of Bolivia’s Best Coffee will provide for all the earthly needs of our children. We could not continue doing what we do without your support.

100% of the proceeds go towards the orphans.

We don’t donate a percentage of our profits, we donate them all. Expenses are minimized everywhere possible to keep costs down; our roaster gives us an outstanding deal because they believe in our cause, one of our volunteers might be shipping out your sample, one of our missionaries might respond to your email, this website was donated. Your donation helps the children, not a bunch of people in between.

We (the team behind IOU-Bolivia) saw how we could help, and how we could make a difference. Every bean that goes into Bolivia’s Best Coffee is purchased from a co-op of over 1500 family farmers. The increased sales that these farmers see bring additional revenue to an extremely impoverished region allowing for better education, health-care, and opportunities for a better life. While we don’t believe we can single-handedly solve Bolivia’s problems, we do believe we can help. Every sale of Bolivia’s Best Coffee brings us a step closer to a better Bolivian economy and, in turn, fewer abandoned children.
